Albert Adomahââ¬â¢s chances of playing at the 2013 African Cup of Nations has been enhanced by the axing of Andre Ayew.
The Bristol City star is among the provisional 24-man squad currently on a training camp in Abu Dhabi.
Coach Kwesi Appiah is expected to name his final 23-man squad for the continental showpiece and Adomahââ¬â¢s prospect has been improved by the absence of the Marseille star.
If the highly-rated winger makes the cut for his debut appearance in the tournament, he couldà potentiallyà miss Cityââ¬â¢s fight against relegation until the middle of February.
