Albert Commey wants Medeama to guard against complacency

Medeama chief Albert Commey has called on his side to keep themselves grounded when they play host to Bechem United on Sunday.

The Mauves and Yellows settled for a pulsating goalless drawn game against regional rivals Hasaacas last weekend.

The Tarkwa-based side are back in action where they host Premier League returnees Bechem United at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park.

United dropped points at home after drawing goalless with Amidaus Professionals.

But the affable and hardworking vice-president of the club Albert Commey has warned there can be no room for complacency.

“We have as well to be realistic, keep our feet on the ground,”Commey told GHANAsoccernet.com

“In the Premier League every game is as dangerous- we have to make sure we prepare well for Bechem United.

“We are a team in progress. We have a strong mental attitude and have a good solidarity within our squad.

“Let’s take care of that because that is very fragile and goes very quickly. For me that is the most important thing, that we keep our humility, hard work for each other and then we have a chance.”

The Ghana FA Cup winners are the overwhelming favourite to bag maximum points at home.
