Former Berekum Chelsea defender Alfred Arthur sentenced to a week in prison for disrespecting court

Former Berekum Chelsea defender Alfred Arthur has been sentenced to prison for one-week for disrespecting a court in Cape Coast.

Arthur was summoned to appear before a Cape-Coast magistrate court for leading a gang to destroy somebody’s mobile phone selling shop.

He was charged was arraigned for court but he twice did not turn up for hearing.

The court on Thursday called for arrest and has been imprisoned at the Ankaful Prison.
