Alhassan Dawou confident RTU will beat the drop from Premier League

Alhassan Dawou insists Real Tamale United have enough quality to stave off relegation despite their winless run in the Ghana Premier League.

The Tamale-based side are firmly rooted at the bottom of the table after going 2-0 against Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday at the Accra sports stadium.

The pride of the north are sweating for results following their six-match home ban.

They lie bottom with a paltry four points from nine games but their assistant trainer remains confident they can scramble out of trouble.

“We played well in the first half but we didn’t take our chances and we paid dearly for it,” Dawou said

“I have no doubt in my mind that we’ll recover and start winning.

“I must admit that we’re in a very  difficult situation but nothing is impossible.

“The ban has been a source of worry but we have what it takes to remain in the elite division.”

RTU will travel to Wa to face All Stars on Sunday December 2.
