Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Amartey scored a wonder-goal in his first strike in European competition, helping his Danish club to a 1-1 draw against Belgian side Club Brugge in the Europa League last night.
The Ghanaian youngster's goal is attracting huge media reviews in Europe on Friday with many touting it as one of the best goals so far in the competition.
Amartey put FCK ahead with just a minute remaining, but substitute VÃctor Vázquez replied to earn the Belgian side a Group B point.
Amartey's 89th-minute volley, which is his first in European competition, looked to have won the game for the Danish visitors .
But, three minutes later, Club Brugge midfielder VÃctor Vázquez struck to rescue a draw.
But two substitutes combined to earn Club Brugge a point, Lior Refaelov finding Vázquez, who stroked in a low shot from the edge of the box.
