Ambitious Ghanaian second-tier Dunkwa United set appoint Greek George Marana as new coach

Ambitious Ghanaian second-tier side Dunkwa United will announce the appointment of Greek George Marana as new coach.

According to widespread reports in Ghana,the European tacticia will take reigns of the club in the coming days.

The deal forms part of a partnership agreement between the club and Gkaneziki football federation - who own the economic right of the former Xanthi coach.

Players of the second-tier side will get the chance to try out with clubs in Greece in an exchange programme.

Marana, 42, has previously managed lower division Clubs in Greece such as Renaissance Ulysses, Macedonian Naples, Panaigialeios and Trikala AO.
