Three clubs â⬓ Amidaus Professionals, Ebusua Dwarfs and King Faisal have officially being relegated to Ghanaââ¬â¢s second-tier.
The three clubs have ended their romance in their Ghanaian top-flight after a difficult spell this season.
Faisal had their own destiny in their own hands but crashed out after drawing 1-1 at home to Berekum Chelsea in front of their home fans.
Having being relegated three years ago, the Kumasi-based side made a quicker-than expected return to the top-flight two seasons ago.
They however failed to maintain their status and will thus play in the lower division of Ghana football next season.
Amidaus Professionals and Ebusua Dwarfs knew their fate ahead of the final day and failed to end on a high after losing and drawing respectively.
Amidaus lost 3-2 at home to Bechem United while Dwarfs shared the spoils against debutant Inter Allies at the Robert Mensa stadium.
Itââ¬â¢s a big massive blow and heart-trenching for Dwarfs Chief Executive Nana Aidoo, who has spent so much on the club, yet the players failed to reward himà by securing their top-flight status.
The three teams will be replaced by Great Olympics and Fetteh Feyernord with the final slot yet to be decided.
