Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong has vowed the side will win the double this season.
The Ghana Premier League title holders won their first silverware on Sunday when they defeated regional rivals Ashantigold to clinch the 2015 SWAG Cup.
Coach David Duncan is crafting together an exciting squad ahead of the start of the new season and skipper Amos Frimpong is confident the Porcupine Warriors will clinch the double.
“Winning our first trophy of the season is a big relief and a major morale booster for us. We are aiming for a double in the main season that is the league and the MTN FA Cup trophy” he said
“We want to improve upon last season’s performance in which we finished second in both the league and the FA Cup. We have the needed materials and we are ready to do that”.
