Olympique Marseille talisman Andre Ayew has predicted a difficult assignment against Inter Milan in the Uefa Champions League round 16 tie on Wednesday night.

The Ghana international is expected to play a key role for his at the Stade Velodrome as they seek a quarter-final berth.

He told RMC Sport: "Inter are a very big team. As they are not doing well in the league, they will rely heavily on the Champions League.

"They want to go as far as possible. They have many experienced players."

Along with their Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue exploits, Marseille are currently competing in four different competitions.

However Ayew believes his side can cope with their demanding fixture schedule and continue to fight for multiple honours.

"We are ambitious players. We want to go as far as possible in all competitions. Marseille has a large workforce," he added.

Marseille qualified in second position from Group F, just a single point behind Arsenal.

Ayew hopes that a positive performance could now see them advance to the quarter-final stage.

"Us, we must remain dynamic and have a lot of determination. It will be a very complicated game."
