Posted On Thursday, 10th January 2013

Andre Ayew did not play for Marseille

Ghana winger Andre Ayew watched from the sidelines as his Olympqiue Marseille side defeated Moroccan side Kawkab Marrakech 2-1 in a friendly game on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old who was excluded from Ghana’s 2013 AFCON squad over fitness concerns joined Marseille’s training camp Marrakech on Monday.

However Andre underwent special training with the Marseille physical instructor and boss Elie Baup decided leave him out of the friendly.

Attacker Jordan Ayew played full throttle while French-born Ghanaian young striker Kevin Osei also lasted the first 45 minutes for Les Olympians.

    So Jordan played 90 mins & could not score even an offside goal for it to be disallowed against this average african side and some people wanted him to lead our attack at AFCON.tweaaa….

  5. Collinto papa says:

    @Dr who & Fred.
    Sulley, Essien, KPB, Majeed Warris, Dede, Jordan, Inkoom etc are all not in the team. Why do you want to descend on Dede alone.
    He is a star whether you like it or not. Lol

  6. austin says:

    why do you people like to blame some for not doing anything Dede was injured whiles playing for Ghana at the AFCON. and that time no one said anything now u want him to kill himself ooh Ghanaians

  7. divine says:

    if dede had come to join the team and performed poorly due to his fitness, Ghanaians will still talk. How can we develop with this attitude. And some of us are making all kinds of negative comments abt the guy. We lack remembrance in this country very much and may God help us identify this before its too late.
