Ghana ace Andre Ayew started from the bench in Marseille’s 3-3 draw at Bastia in their Ligue 1 season opener nourishing the belief that he is not a key player for new coach Marcelo Bielsa.

French newspaper L’Equipe reported that the Argentine trainer has told Ayew he will not be playing a starring role at the club.

Ayew could be heading to English Premier League side Newcastle if reports are to be believed.

The 2014 World Cup star replaced Romain Alessandrini on the hour mark when Les Phoceens were up by two goals to one.

Two minutes later, Andre Gignac made it 3-0 by converting a penalty but Bastia stormed back to level with goals from Tallo and Maboulou.

So, from three goals up, Marseille allowed Bastia to level. They need to improve on their defences.

This GSN is given u wrong info. BASTIA SCORED FIRST and MARSEILLE EQUALISE. It was never 3 - 0 before BASTIA equalised to make it 3 - 3.

@ GSN writers, some of you write like you don't understand the BUSINESS part of the game. Why should the new coach make Ayew a major part of his plans? Ayew has made it clear to the franchise that he wants to leave ok, which the team also wants to cash in if they are to lose him. The smart thing to do right now is to keep him on the bench to avoid any injury. Do you think any team would pickup a player when he's injured?

10 FACT ABOUT ZAMBIANS 1. All male kids do not circumsize and that makes them "koti boto" in our Ghanaian language. 2. They eat some food popularly known as "shima" and they eat it with cassava leaves. In Ghana they will known as "aponkye" 3. They drink so much so that, a lot of Zambians here in the USA have had their driving liscense suspended, revoked and have done some jail terms. "We call them "sagy3 am" 4. Most of the men have bad body odour and I guess is because of the penis not been circumsized. 5 They like marrying young women for wives, for example, you will see a 56yr old man with a 22 yr old wife. You can guess what these young ladies do behind these old drunkards with other men especially guys from west Africa. 6. Zambian men eat with two hands like baboons and have no table manners when they have their food. They can disgrace you very quick as an African. 7 They eat salt and sugar like there is no tomorrow. Every food they eat must either be sprinkled with salt or sugar. It is because Zambia is a landlocked country with no shores or coastal harbors. Salt and sugar is their white gold. 8.Most Zambian women would prefer to date a guy or marry a man from west Africa because they call them "trophy" when they get one. It means the west African men are more smart, educated and very civilized and we treat them better than their own. 9. "Shimanga" is a name for a girl and " mulumbi and lingashi " are names for boys. These are just examples. Very shinny names. 10. South Africa is "Zambian's America" they struggle to go to South Africa just like the west struggle to go to America. However, the South Africans even hate them so bad and more often, Zambians will tell you they are from "South Africa" . They are shy to say they are Zambians. Next week will about about our brother next door...
