Andre Ayew tips brother Jordan for success

Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew believes his younger brother Jordan has got the credentials to hog the headlines in world football.

Jordan, 18, is in fine form for Olympique Marseille's French title defence on Saturday against Caen at home.

He earned rave reviews from head coach Didier Deschamps for his impressive pre-season form.

André and Jordan, sons of African football legend Abedi Pele, will be playing for the first time in the same team.

20-year-old Andre was linked with some big sides in Europe but has decided to extend his stay at the Stade Velodrome for three more years.

"I hope things will go well for us," André told the club's website.

"Jordan is very young and things are looking good for him. I hope that continues. We give each other advice, he is starting to understand the world of football. We are both trying to progress. He tries things and is not scared about moving forward. He is a striker but can also play on the flank. He still needs to progress, but he can achieve a lot in football.''

Jordan made four Ligue 1 appearances last term and scored one goal.
