Ghana deputy skipper and West Ham United’s record signing Andre Ayew will be on the pitch again hoping to score his first goal for the Hammers after making a record switch to the London Stadium this summer.

Ayew who had a blistering start to life in the English Premier League last season has struggled to replicate such fine form since joining Slaven Bilic’s side.

He started the game against Liverpool over the weekend but lasted only 68 minutes before being replaced by returning a Andy Carroll.

Ayew has been played across the front line for the Hammer but has been unable to function effectively with concerns being that he is slowly returning from the injury he picked up against Chelsea on his debut.

West Ham United are fighting to avoid the drop and will be hoping that their new signing should be able to hit the ground running in the game against Burnley.
