Ghana winger Andre Ayew is urging his Olympique Marseille team-mates to maintain their winning run in the French Ligue 1 as they seek to finish in a Champions League spot.
The Black Stars influential winger was on hand as he turned the architect for Mathieu Valbuena who scored the opener for Les Olympians at the Stade de la Mosson.
Marseille had spent a winless run which stretched for eight league games before an Ayew hat-trick halted the slide last week against Ajaccio.
And the Liverpool-target is keen to see his side maintain a consistent winning run to enhance their chances of making qualifying for next season's Uefa Champions League.
“This victory is good. Now we have to keep this mindset, give the best of ourselves and finish the season on a good note,” Ayew told OM.net.
“What is important for us is to take game by game and not ignite. All matches are important. We will try to take maximum points until the end.”
Friday's win has enjoyed Marseille stay 6th and 7 points clear of Bordeaux who are 7th.
