Black Stars key players Andre Ayew and Abdul-Majeed Waris arrived in the Ghanaian capital of Accra last night (Tuesday night) for Saturday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

The two players are the last to join the team's training camp ahead of the match against the Cranes after the rest of the squad arrived in Kumasi on Tuesday.

The two players will join the Black Stars camp in Kumasi on Wednesday morning to prepare for the match against Uganda to be played in the country's slaughter house.

The duo were given the permission to stay away from the first day of training as they were chasing contracts with new clubs in Europe.

Ayew failed to sign for English side QPR on transfer deadline day of Monday as he failed to agree terms with the Premier League side on his wages if he joins the team from Marseille.

Waris moved from Russian side Spartak Moscow to sign for Turkish club Trabzonspor on Monday which also led to the delay in his arrival in the Black Stars camp.

Their arrival will boost the number of players to the expected full number of 24 after Harrison Afful joined the team on Tuesday evening from his Tunisia base after scoring two goals for Esperance over the weekend.

The two are key to coach Kwesi Appiah plans for victory over the Ugandans who are also keen on spoiling the party for the Black Stars.
