Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan wants a positive approach from his team-mates ahead of next week's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo on 3 June.
The Black Stars spurned numerous chances to draw blank with unfancied Sudan at the Baba Yara stadium in October last year.
Despite a commanding 3-0 win in the corresponding fixture two months ago, the Schalke enforcer is preaching caution ahead of the tricky duel.
''It is a very important game for us and we should be careful not to be swayed by the 3-0 away win. We all know what happened when we played against Sudan and so must approach the game seriously," Annan said.
''We have a strong team but in such games, you can't take chances and if you're not careful you may be shocked. But we believe in ourselves and weââ¬â¢ll do our best to win for the country.''
