Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan has promised to keep up with his charity works on an annual basis.

The 26-year-old adopted two girls and made item donations to two separate orphanages in his home town worth Ghc 10, 000.

The on loan Schalke midfielder at Osasuna has been holding several unofficial charity projects especially in Cape Coast where he hails from.

His management team have now decided to institutionalize his philanthropic works with donations of all kind of sorts to be made every year.

“Anthony (Annan) has been doing this for a while so we thought why couldn’t we take it further than just giving by adopting and he accepted,” Annan’s publicist Obeng Kwaku (Myxtro) said during the Christmas Day donation.

“So I can assure you that as far as he lives, as far as he survives, as far as he plays for this country and as far as God has promised to bless him, he will never let these children down.”

The ex Hearts of Oak player is part of the provisional Ghana squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and looks likely to make the final cut.
