Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan returned to the Schalke 04 first team squad but warmed the bench in their 4-0 thrashing of TSG Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga on Saturday.Ã
The former Hearts of Oak midfield fan-belt is yet to play a competitive league game for Schalke this season since his return from injury.
The 27-year-old had not been in the Royal Blues' 18-man squad for all competition since mid-February but manager Jens Keller handed him a place in his 18-man squad for the home tie against Hoffenheim.
