Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan had his first training session with Osasuna on Friday morning.
The 26-year-old completed his season-long loan move from Schalke 04 to the Reyno de Navarra Stadium on Thursday and was presented to the fans that afternoon.
Annan must convince head coach Jose Luis Mendilibar about his fitness level for Sunday's La Liga match against Barcelona at home.
The Ghana international said in his press conference on Wednesday his availability for his debut defended on the coach.
"I would like to. I'm in shape, but it all depends on the coach. Also the first thing I want is to know my new teammates and I also need time to get used to the Spanish league."
