New Edubiase United president Abdul Salam Yakubu has endorsed Anthony Commey as the perfect coach to lead the side despite rumours surrounding his future.

The Bekwai-based struggled last season and finished 10th in the Ghana Premier League and Commey was blamed for the team’s disappointing outing.

“I can tell you with all certainty that Anthony Commey is staying. It is 100% assured that he is going to be the coach of the club for the 2014/15 League season,” Yakubu confirmed.

“Between God and man, we had one or two many issues with him but management has been able to handle everything and all is set now for him to commence the pre-season.

“We had a marathon meeting with him for continuously one week and everything is in order now.

“For now, we must emphasize that he is the best and that he is staying with New Edubiase United FC.”
