Argyle new signing Graham Carey has lauded the qualities of Ghanaian midfielder Hiram Boateng.
Boateng has joined Argyle on loan from Premier League side Crystal Palace.
He has established himself as one of the club’s key holding midfielders alongside Carl McHugh.
Carey, who scored in the 2-0 at Kingsmeadow on Saturday against Wimbledon, praised Boateng.
He said: "I think they (Boateng and McHugh) are two young, great footballers that want to get on the ball.
"They are not just defensive midfielders. They want to pass forward and that's vital to the way we want to play."
