Hearts of Oak chief Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe says he is unaware of a rift between the players and new coach Mohammed Polo.

There are increasing reports of friction between some players of the side who are mainly loyal to dismissed coach David Duncan.

These players are still seething from the decision to fire their mentor and are making things difficult for the new man in charge.

But the club’s managing director insists he is unaware of such a situation but says steps are being taking to ensure absolute unity within the club.

“Nothing has come to the attention of management and that is as far as it goes,” he told Metro FM.

“Just like every human institution there will be differences so it is for to us to manage these differences to ensure that we have a cohesive unit going forward.”
