Ghana wing-half Jeffrey Schlupp and his Leicester City side watched their enviable Premier League unbeaten record crash down before their home fans as Arsenal hammered them 5-2 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

The 22-year-old lasted the entire duration for the Foxes who had jealously protected their 17-game unbeaten run in all English competitions and had extended the enviable run under renowned Italian gaffer Claudio Ranieri as they had without a loss in their opening 6 games; earning the tag comeback kings.

But on Saturday Alexis Sanchez rediscovered his goalscoring touch as his hat-trick ended their unbeaten start to the season.

With Schlupp holding down his place in the Foxes line-up to start his 7th game of the campaign and English-born Ghanaian prodigy Joe Dodoo warming the bench the Gunners claimed all three points and did so under impressive fashion - shattering the seamless fluidity that has governed their play since the start of the campaign and dominating possession with 58% of ball possession.

The German-born Ghanaian will be back with his team-mates to prepare for restoration as they travel to Norwich City next weekend.

Dodoo is likely to return to the Foxes U21 squad as Ranieri is likely to demand more discipline and level-headed play from his side in their next Premier League encounter. The former Chelsea manager who returned to the Premier League a 11-year absence would want to redeem his fate with a good performance against Norwich City at the Carrow Road Stadium.
