The race for Nottingham Forest's brilliant young attacker Ben Brereton is heating up.

The Sun says Arsenal checked on the 17-year-old in midweek and will rival Liverpool and Southampton, with Forest braced for bids of £10million and above.

Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp has been an admirer of Brereton for some time now, the German believing the former Stoke prospect has the kind of skills Klopp thinks he can use to make him a modern forward, playing the way the German coach wants.

It is believed the 17-year-old could cost as much as £10million if clubs want to prise him away from the City Ground.
