Arsenal are set to make a move for Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho, 25. Carvalho has a €45m (£40m) release clause in his contract, which expires in 2020. But, according to Record, Sporting president Bruno de Carvalho is willing to cut a deal for €30m (£27m). The Portuguese publication claims that Arsenal are preparing an offer for Carvalho. It is not stated how much the bid will be worth but it will reportedly be an increase on their previous failed attempt.
