Asked about Spanish attacking midfielder/winger Santi Cazorla's recent injury, and about subsequential market perspectives, Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger stated: "In midfield we have many players, but there are mainly two reasons we won't be probing transfer market in search a for a replacement to Santi. First, we already dispose of a high-profile quality in our roster. Secondly, in January, you wouldn't necessarily find a Cazorla even if you wanted to. For me it's very bad news because with surgery you never know the date they will play again".
