Exactly. Since he went to Arab land, he hasn't scored for Ghana anymore: - His sharpness, that he had when playing in the EPL, is gone! He used to score against Chelsea, Man U, Man City and so. But now he needs a penalty to score against a low ranked arab club. - His first touch has become as heavy as an elephant marching. - We all love him, and we want him to go back to his best potential! - Do we honestly think he can score against world class defenders? I don't think so. Maybe for the Afcon, Gyan will be fine. But in the World Cup we need a striker who can strike fear into the likes of Pepe, Kompany, Thiago Silva, Chelini etc.

Gyan is playing against oil riggers, Imams and Sheicks so why wont he lead the goal king? He cant score when he is playing againat Bonucci,Chelini,Pepe and the likes.

Divaro, all levelheaded people who can make a critical analysis of the submissions here will know that those comments are not born out of hatred but with the view to getting the best out of Gyan as our captain and reduce expectations on him. It it ppl like you who are not welcome on this platform because u are not making any intellectual contribution but to attack contributors. Every one his an opinion an you have no choice than to respect that on this platform. Create your own own platform and you can choose who to come there and do whatever u want there

Gyan can score 100 goals in the UAE Etisat Pro League this seaon but it wont be recognized as a great feat.

I like Gyan but i believe what he is doing is a great disservice to football. why he doesn't want to play in a league where his potential will be meaningful beats my imagination. Is it sheer wickedness?

Always a brace, brace, brace. He only scores two, and he seems happy with that. Hello, this is the arab desert you're playing! Comparable to the second-division in Ghana! UNBELIEVABLE

Ghanasoccernet, spare us these boring Asamoah Gyan stories of brace here brace there. He is our number one striker but what is so special about scoring braces in an uncompetitive league like that of the UAE? Not to mention the fat that 99% of these braces have one of them being from the penalty spot. This is what we do and bring so much pressure and expectation on them when they play for blackstars. Scoring once in every three matches in the EPL or maybe once in every two matches in the Ligue 1 is worth hyping than braces in UAE
