Handlers of Asamoah Gyan have raised concerns of growing impersonation of the Ghana captain especially on social networking platforms.

The Black Stars captain is alleged to have made overtures towards some beautiful ladies on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

There are also some reports of impersonation of the Al Ain ace to extort monies from some business interests – using his foundation as a front.

But the Chief Executive Officer of the Asamoah Gyan Foundation Samuel Anim Addo has debunked these claims – spelling out in clear terms the operational team behind the Black Stars captain.

“These allegations are unfounded and should be treated as such,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“Asamoah [Gyan] has his official Twitter and Instagram accounts which have never been used to propagate such immorality and fraudulent acts.

“Baffour Gyan handles his personal affairs – advices him on life and football issues.

“He has a lawyer called Kissi Agyabeng while I handle his businesses, media and public relations.

“He has an office in Accra where his businesses such as the foundation, Gyan Investment and the Baby Jet Promotions operate.

“Therefore anyone outside the scope of the operational officers I have mentioned ought to be considered an imposter.”
