Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan has aimed to continue Ghana's dominance over Nigeria in the 9 August international friendly.
The Super Eagles will attempt a win over the Black Stars in five years at Vicarage Stadium when the two giants renew their rivalry in a Fifa international friendly game.
The Sunderland ace, who scored the solitary goal that separated the two sides in the quarter-finals of the 2010 Nations Cup in Angola, has promised another stellar performance.
"There is a big rivalry between Ghana and Nigeria. They will try to win this time but we are also upbeat about our chances. Letââ¬â¢s see what God will do. We will win," He told Accra-based Peace FM.
Nigeria have not beaten Ghana since Taiye Taiwo scored from a screamer in the Group D opener of the 2006 Nations Cup in Egypt.
Gyan, 25, is the top scorer in the Black Stars with 26 goals from 48 caps.
