Black Stars trio Asamoah Gyan, Harrison Afful and Swansea City star Andre Ayew have been shortlisted for the Sports Writers Association of Ghana Footballer of the Year gong.
Three players are adjudged to have performed well in the Year 2014.
Former Bechem United star Augustine Okrah, Abeiku Ainooson and Kwabena Edusei have made the three-man shortlist for Premiership Player of the Year.
Jennifer Cudjoe has been voted for the Female Footballer of the Year award.
The 40th Edition of the Awards will be held on Saturday, 03 October 2015 at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra.
A statement from SWAG said 25 sports men and women, drawn from various sporting disciplines will be honoured on the night with trophies, medals and certificates.
The event, which has over the years been held in May, had to be shifted to October due to the organisation of elections and other challenges earlier in the year.

(b) Anthony Baffoe- Contribution to the development of football, esp. at the World Cup Brazil 2014.
(c) Magnus Rex Danquah – Contribution to the development of sports in Ghana.
(d) Akolya Pattel – Contribution to the development and promotion of cricket in Ghana.
