Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan will be hosting a celebrity bash for his Black Stars teammates on Saturday.

The Al Ain ace in celebrating the recent wins of the Black Stars in crucial 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho will be hosting a party at his East Legon residence on Saturday night.

Gyan is bringing together several personalities from the Ghana music and movie industries to join his Black Stars teammates celebrate the crucial away wins.

The part-time musician is expected to join hands with his long-time friend Castro and his band to entertain guests while doing his formation dance with his crew at the party.

The 27-year-old will also use the opportunity to celebrate his record-breaking feat at club level.

The ex Sunderland hitman scored 31 goals in the just ended campaign in the UAE Pro League – the most scored in a single season.

He managed to translate his hot form at international level where he scored three goals in the two crucial Ghana games in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho.

Gyan’s goals in the Black Stars win has helped put the side in pole position to pick the sole progressive ticket in Group D by dethroning Zambia from the group’s summit.

This is not the time for celebration. Why not wait till you guys clear the last three matches and be sure of a world cup berth before throwing this party. It would have been better to go and thank God in a church instead of this useless venture. Humility breeds success. Ask Stephen Appiah how he was able to do it.

    • Kwaku Tee says:

My friend don’t say it is a useless event,it is just a way of releasing stress. You have never been in their shoes before other than that you won’t write this.Mind you most of them have just completed their leagues which is very hectic.Going to church or thanking God is just personal you don’t have to come out to tell the public.I would only advise them not to lose focus but whilst celebrating they should have the 3 remaining matches in mind.

I WAS IN THE VIP SECTION AT GLENNS IN JAN 2011 WITH GYAN. THIS IS WHERE THIS PIC IS FROM. I WAS WITH A BUNCH OF CANADIAN GIRLS. A FRIEND POINTED GYAN TO ME IN VIP. THEN I REMARKED…OH THE GUY WHO MISSED THE PENALTY?…SOME OF HIS BOYS CAME TO HANG OUT WITH THE GIRLS. COOL GUY, BUT MUST BE SERIOUS INFRONT OF GOAL. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR OPPORTUNITIES…

  2. BX, NYC says:

  3. phillbanger says:

  4. stunna says:

    Aaba
    God forgive u

  5. GYAN FOR LIFE says:

@BX! NYC. IS HE GOING TO DO THE AZONTO DANCE WITH UR MONEY OR UR FATHERS MONEY? He PLAYED A HOLE SEASON AND WANTS TO RELEASE SOME STRESS AND U WANT TO FOOL YOUR SELF ON THAT . AND TO U ALLAN . HE IS NOT DOING THAT FOR THE SAKE OF STARS BUT PLANTING A HOLE SEASON WITH A RECORD LIKE THAT IS WORTH CELEBRATING. LET’S GROW UP AS GHANAIANS . COS I KNOW SOME IDIOTS WILL STILL GET ROOM TO FOOL EVEN IF HE RETIRES AND PARTY?

  6. Ghanaman says:

Go on Gyan and show them those Azonto moves!

  7. Pk says:

  10. Pk dee says:

U work hard for ur money, party hard like no ones business. Life is too short to be lonely n procrastinativ.congrats capito!

  11. Allan says:

Folks these same people supporting this move will come back here to castigate him if God forbid something bad happens during the rest of the qualifiers. Nobody is disputing Asamoah’s money which he made through the hard way but these kind of celebrations should be after qualification to the world cup. We have been twice participants at the world cup and I bet you Stephen never went about throwing parties even when we have qualified. You people should advice these guys to concentrate on their training instead of pushing them to disaster because if we do not qualify they will have themselves only to be blame.

  12. GH Panther says:

hahaha. gyan, the party man. the azonto will be crying and i’ m guessing they will be dancing alqaeda as well. hehehe.

  13. Zambianosis says:

Isn’t strange how history tends to repeat itself. Ask Drogba, who incidentally was (is) captain of CTD’Ivoire how he took his team for celebrations the day before plying Zambia at the 2012 AFCON. Well it your turn…Baba!! You will remeber this advice; Dont count the chicks before they are born. Made in Zambia. I will be the one to declare national mourning and will prepare a speech to that effect. Check this site in about 80 days….!!! Viva Chipolopolo…..

  14. Ghanaman says:

Azonto has been missing you Gyan…good that you’re back in the fold.

  15. Sani says:

nobody has a problem with Gyan doing what ever he want to do with his oil money, our problem is the theme of the event he shouldn’t associate it with the blk stars world cup qualifys. He can name it like discovering free oil at Al ain or wining a big moni advatsmnt deal with melcom or chocho cream group of companies .

  16. VINCY says:

Gyan, enjoy ur top spot. u av suffered 2 gain.

  17. King Wise Don Fuzzy says:

Those of u who are chastising the young man for planning to celebrate the black stars feat and whatever reason should go back and read the article carefully before commenting. Most people I think don’t read the articles before comment and I think that is pretty bad. If my eyes and understanding is right, what the young man is planning to celebrate is his goal record and the feat he has chocked with his club. Thank your understanding. God Help Us

  18. Mukebi says:

Nothin wrong let th guys celebrat as thy hv alredy qualfied th last game against Zmbia min nothing bt jst 2 mek th fxture

  19. mojahadine says:

Asamoah Gyan should learn how to play football with the big boys in Europe before celebrating any win by Ghana on lowly teams like SUDAN and LESOTHO

  20. Ghanaman says:

Time to celebrate folks ,we’re thru to the nxt round. We all know Bs does not lose at home.So my contribution to this party is 5 cartons of SKKY VODKA to our gallant team.

    • Chipolopolo fan says:

Wait until u c Zambia’s wrath on yo boyz u bloke, remember u dnt insult the croc b4 u cross the river…..how do u celebrate victory which u have’nt attained.. u r such a dreamer being misled by yo illusions

  21. Chipolopolo fan says:

  23. Prof inkoom says:

Congratulation to de squard ba the celebration must be after end of de 3 matches coz de pple supporting Gyan will be de same pple who wil blame him when a problem comes

  24. donking says:

folks i personally doesnt c anithing wrong wt this, this guy nd his team mates have really suffered big tym at their various club levels nd fdor BS as well, man winning 2 consecutive game both in away is nt easy ooo, nd besides they are on break too, the only advice is that they shld stll remain focused bt there is no way too that Zanbia can beat us here in kumasi, never it wont happen even if we present RTU as BS.Dnt forget too that there is tym for every thing and also all work nd no play, makes jack a dull boy, go gyan, we a proud of u guys…… even the minister has also promised some chill out as well

  25. selorm says:

two important away wins archived so please guys make us proud with a convincing win on home soil…
