Asamoah: “It’s a shame”

Kwadwo Asamoah expressed his thoughts at the end of Juventus’ encounter against Shakhtar Donestk admitting ‘it wasn’t easy’.

The Ghanaian played in a wider position than he is used to on the field yesterday evening and still managed to get from one box to the other with easy, but unfortunately he wasn’t able to help make an impact on goal like he has done on previous occasions.

"I'm comfortable playing both in the middle and out wide, where I occasionally did a job while at Udinese,” he told Juve’s official site.

“We played well tonight but I didn't get many balls in attacking areas.

“It's a shame because they seemed to struggle a bit when one on one. But they spent quite a lot of time on the front foot too and it wasn't easy to switch from defence to attack."
