Kwadwo Asamoah proved his full fitness by lasting the entire duration of Juventus’ 2-0 win over AC Milan in the big Serie-A game played on Sunday night.

The Ghana midfielder had to pass a late fitness test after picking up a hamstring injury earlier in the week in order to face the Rossoneri.

Goals from Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez gave the champions a famous win at the San Siro to strengthen their lead at the top of Serie-A.

Asamoah’s full time involvement comes as a massive boost for Ghana as he is now fit to join the Black Stars squad for the international friendly match against Montenegro on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, his Black Stars teammates Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari did not play a part for Milan in Sunday’s game.

Muntari was suspended while Essien remained an unused substitute for the match which ended in defeat to Clarence Seedorf’s side.

Essien blew his chance when he refused to play for Ghana in the 2010 world cup. Now that he is all washed up, what's he gonna do? In 2010 he said he wanted to take care of himself (me first) and concentrate on his club career. The fact is, he was coersed not to play for Ghana. Why is he not concentrating on his club career now? Now he needs to use Ghana to jump-start his dying career. He thought he could lie to all ghanaians. Let him know that this is the real time for him to be fully focused on his club career.

not essien alone boateng as well.personally i do not want to be a prophet of doom but i do not see theses big name guys making any meaningful impact at the world cup and it would be suicidal for the to over rely on these guys(essien, muntari and kvb)they are are not what they used to be any longer and the earlier we start looking for replacement for these guys the better.good luck k.appiah

Kwasia sem kwa u play left back in a village team called juventus but u refused to play left back in ghana black stars .who do u think u are? KOJO asamoah we need u and micheal essien to solve the lateral defends which is being the head aech for most ghanaians and leave the midfield for the likes of afriyie acquah, badu, annan, rabiu, muntari, prince boateng to fight because u always struggle to play in the midfield ever since Stephen appiah left
