Ghanaian striker Kenneth Asamoah says he is awaiting Fifa to ratify his transfer to Tanzanian side Young Africans after providing all the required documents to complete his move.

A Tanzanian Football Federation officials said a contradiction of data submitted by Yanga and his former club FK Jagodina of Serbia on a newly web-based transfer matching system designed by FIFA had blocked his move.

Asamoah, who has impressed in friendly matches for the side, has allayed all fears of a stalled move.

"Fifa rejected the move because they said all the necessary documents were not complete," Asamoah told Asempa FM.

"My club in Serbia and Young Africans have now completed all the documents required by Fifa and have sent it to the governing body.

"So we are waiting for them to approve it and I am sure it will be approved soon for me to play for Young Africans.

"They are satisfied with my performance and i am ready to serve Young Africans with all my heart."

He played for Nania FC, Maamobi Midjylland, Kotoko and Real Sportive before leaving to play for the Serbian club.

He has been loaned out to Young Africans for one season.
