Asante Kotoko will begin their pre-season training ahead of the new football season on Tuesday, according to a Metro FM report.
All players of the club are expected to report at the club’s Adako Jarchie training facility in Kumasi.
The players will begin a mandatory cooper test and will undergo medical examinations as well.
Coach Mas-Ud Dramani is expected to preside over the opening session despite reports of his imminent departure from the club over dragged talks for his contract renewal.
Kotoko will be aiming to retain their Premier League crown for the fourth successive time while making a concerted attempt at making a meaningful impact in the CAF Champions League.
