Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer Samuel Opoku Nti has credited the team’s recent success on the pitch to hard work from everybody associated with the club.

Kotoko have been by far the most successful club during the preseason, winning the highly fancied GHALCA 6 competition, despite putting up a weakened team.

The RED ARMY have also done a good job in the transfer market with the acquisition of Kwame Boateng, Halipha Sodogo and experienced goalkeeper Ernest Sowah snatching the latter from rivals Hearts of Oak.

The team’s performance is incredible giving that, there were uncertainties surrounding the direction of the club at the end of 2015.

But Opoku Nti who is a legend of the club says the success story of Kotoko in recent times is down to hard work from everybody associated with the club.

“Of course one cannot rule out proper planning, we sat back as a team and diagnosed what the problem was and we administered the right dose,” Opoku Nti said
