Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan is desperate to have the side regain its fear factor at their home ground.

The champions have dropped vital points at home in the first round of the Ghana Premier League.

Rivals Hearts of Oak are famous for coming away with maximum points from the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

But disappointing home draws has been Kotoko’s biggest headache this season.

And coach David Duncan admits his team must improve its home form.

“It is no question of seeking to. We don’t have a choice,” he said.

“I will not be seeking to change something that is good. It’s bad.

“Definitely, we would like to change that trend at home. That is exactly what we will do.

“Especially when, under normal circumstances, that place is supposed to be our fortress.

“Under normal circumstances, Kotoko is supposed to be picking points – even away.

“So if at a place where you must be guaranteed your three points, you don’t get, I consider that an abnormality. It’s absurd!”
