Asante Kotoko have confirmed their participation in the 2018 GHALCA G8 tournament next year.
The club officially annoinced their involvement after officials attended a meeting at the GHALCA secretariat on Thursday in Accra.
Kumasi and Cape Coast will host the eight-team tournament between 6-22 January, 2018.
A statement on the club's Twitter account read: ''Confirmed! Asante Kotoko confirms participation in the G8 tournament which will kick off from the 6th-22nd of January 2018 in a meeting attended by @thecruggers @JoelHammond_ and Nana Kwame Dankwah.''
Group A comprises Asante Kotoko, Aduana Stars, Dreams FC and Eleven Wonders.
The other section contains Hearts of Oak, WAFA, Ebusua Dwarfs and Karela FC.
Organizers Ghana League Clubs Association [GHALCA] will later unveil plans for the tournament.
