Asante Kotoko defender Eric Donkor ready to adapt to any role given to him by Coach Duncan

Fast improving Asante Kotoko versatile player Eric Donkor has indicated he is ready to play any role given to him by his coach ahead of the upcoming season.

Donkor who started his footballing career as a left-back, now plays as a left wing midfielder under coach David Duncan.

The current role of the former Windy Professionals man has re-shaped his career as many football pundits believes that he is now better player than before.

But Donkor has insisted that he is ready to play any role given to him by his current coach at Kotoko or any other coach he will be working with in the future provided that is the demand of the coach.

“Under Coach Duncan, I play as a left back in some matches and a winger in other matches. With regards to my position in a game I don’t decide. It is in the hands of the coach,” Donkor told GHANAsoccernet.com

“Sometimes it also depends on the tactical play of the coach.

I’m a professional player and ready to accept any role given to me by my coach. I’m ever ready to face that challenge,” he added.
