Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Mahama has credited head coach Steve Pollack for his exploits in the second round of the season.

Mahama has impressed greatly under the guidance of English trainer after struggling to impress previous managers Dzravko Lugarusic and Frimpong Manso.

The former Techiman city star struggled for game time and failed to the most of few he got in the first round.

It has been a totally different story in the second round as he has become a key player in the Porcupine Warriors set up, making as many appearances and scoring three goals.

Baba Mahama grabbed the only goal and was adjudged man of the match in Wednesday’s win against Ebusua Dwarfs.  The win ended Dwarfs unbeaten home run this season.

“Things wasn’t easy for me initially. I’m happy that, with time and hard training, I’m settling at Kotoko. I’ve started scoring as I used to do with my former club. I want to give credit to Coach Polack. The tactical lessons he gives to us have brought changes into my style of play. It keeps me sending me from strength to strength” he noted.
