Asante Kotoko midfielder Owusu Jackson says they will clinch this year's MTN FA Cup title to pacify their fans for failing to win the league title.

Kotoko form in the Ghana Premier League have been disappointing, where they occupy 4th on the standings with with just a game to end the season.

But the Porcupine Warriors could finish the season on a high should they overcome arch rivals Hearts of Oak in the MTN Cup grand final, which will be staged at Tamale Sports Stadium on October 29.

According to Owusu, they will put in their all to finish the season with a silverware by beating Hearts of Oak.

“We are sorry we didn’t win the league, We wanted to win the league and the F A Cup, But we couldn’t reach our target, we will try and win the F A Cup for the supporters,” Owusu told footballmadeinghana.com after their win over Berekum Chelsea

The combative midfielder further stressed that he has been training well after his injury and that has made him to pick up fast.

“I train a lot after coming back from Injury. I decided to work hard to come back in the team. Hard Work is my secret, I always try to do my best in every game.”

Jackson Owusu was awarded the NASCO Man of the match in Kotoko’s 1-0 triumph over Chelsea.
