The Asante Kotoko team have traveled to the Western Region to intensify their pre-season preparations.
Led by their coach David Duncan, the Kotoko squad including some of their new signings have pitched camp at the St. Christo’s Lodge in Sekondi-Takoradi.
Initial reports claimed that the players of the dethroned Premier League champions were lodging in the dormitory of St. Mary’s Senior High School.
But checks by GHANAsoccernet.com revealed that the team are indeed lodging at St. Christo’s â an exclusive lodge for corporate institutions.
David Duncan will be looking to use their time on Sekondi-Takoradi to build the physical condition of the players while they await the confirmed date for the start of the 2015/16 season.
Kotoko will be looking to reclaim the Premier League title they lost to regional rivals AshantiGold in the coming season.
