Asante Kotoko PRO issues warning to clubs over Amos Frimpong pursuit

The Public Relations Officer of Asante Kotoko Obed has issued a note of caution to clubs that want to prize away their captain, Amos Frimpong.

Frimpong was one of the club's high performers during their FA Cup triumph as well their 5th place finish in the league.

The 26-year-old was fiercely linked with a move to Nigerian top flight side Enyimba FC following the expiration of his contract with the Porcupine Warriors.

But according to the club's scribe, any club that needs the right back's service should be ready to pay a substantial amount of money as they are keen to extend his stay ahead of the forthcoming campaign.

"Obed Acheampong remains a player and a captain of Asante Kotoko. Though he is yet to sign a new contract, he is not joining any other club. Any club that will want his services should be ready to dish out some huge sums of money,” Acheampong told Asempa FM.
