Asante Kotoko will be handing a query letter to striker Yahaya Mohammed over his alleged move to Libyan club Al-Ittihad.

The 25-year-old has been accused of signing for the Tripoli-based side despite being under contract with the Ghanaian champions.

Yahaya Mohammed however denied signing for the Libyan club ahead of his meeting with the club’s top hierarchy later this week.

Kotoko have already reported the striker to the Ghana FA – arguing the player did not notify them of his alleged move to Al-Ittihad.

The club will now make the rumoured suspension of the striker official by handing him a query letter this week, Metro FM has reported.

The striker meanwhile has been given a personal training program as he continues his rehabilitation from injury.
