The management of Kotoko has responded to the reply Hearts filed to their appeal of the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee ruling which docked Kotoko six points in the Obed Owusu-Hearts protest, the club have confirmed.

This brings an end to the appeal processes. What is now left is determination of the case by the Appeals Committee. Asantekotokos.com understand that, the committee will set a date for a meeting followed by their judgement.

Kotoko’s Accra Representative, Edmund Ackah who have been in the thick of affairs with the club’s lawyers said in an interview that, management responded to Hearts’ reply on Thursday afternoon and rubbished all claims made by the Phobians with solid facts – incontrovertible facts which weaken anything the Hearts management provided.

Asantekotokosc.com as a matter of principle cannot publish details of Kotoko’s appeal, the reply from Hearts and the response Kotoko sent to the Appeals Committee on Thursday until the full determination of the case.

Earlier on Thursday there had been media reports that Kotoko were heading to the law court to seek an injunction on the league. However, Asantekotokosc.com is putting on record that, no such decision has been taken by the Board of Directors of the club.

The three supporters who on Wednesday served notice of taking such an action have as well not done that. It is not likely that, they will do that, Asantekotokosc.com is reliably informed.

Kotoko will be at home to Aduana Stars this Sunday and are hopeful of winning to end the 2014/15 season on a bright note.
