Asante Kotoko striker Obed Owusu has been named the club’s August Player of the Month.
He beat goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi and striker Dauda Mohammed to win the award after a poll which was conducted last Thursday.
Owusu is the second player to win the monthly award organized by technology firm, Jimatech in conjunction with management and the technical team.
He was awarded on Sunday afternoon during their final league match against Aduana Stars
Centre back Ahmed Adams won the maiden award in July.
