An unnamed Kumasi-based businessman has promised to donate a brand new bus to Asante Kotoko after Wednesday night's fatal crash.
The benefactor is reported to have phoned the club's Executive Chairman Dr Kwame Kyei to announce his pledge.
Kotoko's team bus was left mangled after ramming into a stationary bus on the Nkawkaw road which claimed the life of the their assistant equipment manager Kofi Asare.
The Porcupine Warriors were returning from Accra where they had played Inter-Allies in a Ghana Premier League match.
Several members of the technical team and playing body were left injured.
They are receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
