Managers of Kotoko and technology firm, JimaTech will on Thursday launch the JimaTech-Kotoko Player of the Month award scheme.
The initiative is targeted at motivating the playing body to give their best to the club while appreciating or recognizing good work.
Ahead of Thursday’s launch at the club secretariat, three players namely Ahmed Adams, Amos Frimpong and Obed Owusu have been nominated by the technical team for the month of July.
Supporters of the club, who have 60 per cent voting rights are to vote for their best player this month by visiting the Kotoko Portal Application.
Management members, technical team, players and officers of the National Circles Council have 40 per cent voting power.
Chief Executive Officer of JimaTech, Dr. Philip Gyapon Gyimah explained the voting process for supporters in an interview with Asantekotokosc.com.
“Supporters will vote on the Kotoko Portal App, which is downloadable from Play Store. When they open the app, the voting banner pops up on the phone screen; you click on the banner to vote on the voting page†said Dr. Gyimah.
“Alternatively, they can click on the green menu icon, click on the player of the month and vote on the voting page. Fans are reminded that they can’t vote twice†the JimaTech CEO added.
