Asante Kotoko winger Frank Sarfo Gyamfi has assured the Porcupine Warriors fans they will arrest the club's poor form in recent games.

The Ghana Premier League title-holders have managed just two wins, four draws and three defeats in nine games have dumped the defending champions to 13th place on the 16-club league table with only a step adrift the drop zone.

Kotoko's latest defeat in the season came with a 3-0 humiliation at the hands of Great Olympics who mauled them 3-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

"Everybody is looking on us to improve in the coming days. It’s normal for the supporters to feel the way they do because it is said that to whom much is given much is expected”, said the National U-23 winger. "I think every game that Kotoko plays, you have to manage that pressure, because this is a top club," he observed. "The more poor results we get, the more the pressure increases. So as quickly as possible we need to handle the pressure by halting the poor results”.

Kotoko have slumped down the Premier League ladder ahead of their return to continental action in the CAF Champions League with management sacking head coach of the club Mas-Ud Dramani.

Players and coaching body met with the club's life patron Otumfour Osei Tutu II on Wednesday to find a solution to the current crisis.
