AshantiGold acting head coach Yakubu Sherrif Mambo has maintained he will leave his post if club fail to win their next two matches.

The management of the club gave the technical team a three-match ultimatum to end the woes of the club.

It began with a 1-1 draw at home with new entrants Bolga All Stars leaving them six points to fight for in the next two games against WAFA SC on Wednesday and Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Already, Bashiru Hayford has left the club as the head coach after resigning on Friday morning but his assistant vows to follow him if things don't turn around.

"I mentioned the other time that the target is seven points or nine points from the three-match ultimatum given to us," Mambo said.

"Now we have lost two points remaining six. So we are going in for all the six points. If we fail to achieve that, it can compel me to leave the club."
